How we work
Understand, diagnose, design, build, enable.
Five steps, in order. Every engagement runs some version of them. The only question is where you're already far enough along that we can skip ahead.
The Method
01
Understand
Find out how the team actually works.
We interview your recruiters, your coordinators and your hiring managers, and we get into the tools with them: the ATS, the docs, the spreadsheets nobody admits to. Not how the process is documented. How it actually runs.
02
Diagnose
Turn what we found into a clear read.
We analyse everything from discovery and pull out the themes: where the hotspots are, what's quietly working and worth protecting, and what's costing the team time. You get a straight write-up of what we learned, whether or not it's flattering.
03
Design
Decide what should exist before anyone builds it.
We bring a recommendation for the work we've agreed to take on, but we design it with you and your team, not at them. A solution that doesn't match how your recruiters actually work gets abandoned in a month, however good it looks.
04
Build
Then we build it.
Live dashboards, referral engines, sourcing systems, headcount tooling, automation. We build with maintenance in mind from the first line, so what we ship survives past the engagement instead of decaying the moment we leave.
05
Enable
And make sure it lands with the team.
Training and change management: the part most engagements skip. We build the playbook with your team, run the sessions, and stay close until the people who have to live with it are running it without us.
Five steps, one outcome: a team firing on all cylinders at the size it already is.
Ways of Working
We embed. We don't consult from the outside.
You can't fix a workflow you've only had described to you in a meeting. So we join the team properly. Clients tend to describe it as gaining a teammate for a quarter rather than hiring a vendor.
We join your tools, not just your calendar.
Slack, your docs, your ATS, your AI assistant. We work where your team works, which is the only way to see how the process actually runs rather than how it's documented.
We optimise for what's right for you, not what's billable for us.
We sell ATS migrations. We will still talk you out of one unless you genuinely need it, because we've run them and we know what a year of your team's life it costs. The same goes for anything else we could sell you.
The scope flexes toward whatever the team needs.
Engagements have a shape, not a fence. If something urgent surfaces mid-quarter that we're better placed to handle, we handle it.
We stay close until you don't need us close.
When there's a permanent hire, we stay hands-on until they and the team are running without us. Then we step back to support. Work that only functions while we're still around isn't worth much.
